A hydrogeologist at heart, Huxta Environmental can help you with your water supply and water resource management needs. Huxta Environmental works on projects ranging from small transient non-community public water systems through large industrial and irrigation withdrawals requiring permits and dockets from interstate agencies. Working in southeastern Pennsylvania for over a decade has resulted in an intimate understanding of the local geologic formations and hydrologic systems in the unconsolidated Coastal Plain in the corner of the state, metamorphic rocks of the Piedmont, sedimentary and igneous rocks of the Newark Basin, and the heavily folded and faulted rock of the Ridge and Valley. In addition to siting and permitting withdrawals, Huxta Environmental can also assist with the hydrogeologic component of wetland replacement design and ongoing monitoring.
